Shy Baby
Last Thursday, Andrea and I were again in for an ultrasound, this time to get the low down on whether we are going to have a boy or girl. Despite having been told that no one cares about that bit of information the last time we were in the office, we returned with our hopes to know and our cares to know for ourselves intact. From the start our little one was all action. The ultrasound tech even asked Andrea what she had for breakfast that might have gotten our kid so wound up. Nothing but toast, we might be in for it with this little bundle of energy. So, after giving the tech a fit moving all over that place while she tried to get still shots of the heart, spin, and other body parts, attention was turned to identifying just what kind of kid we have bouncing round in there. Naturally, that is the time when shyness took over. No more movement and no clear shot could be found to determine if we had been looking at a boy or girl. So anyone hoping to get a jump on your gift shopping will have to wait to learn whether you need to buy blue or pink.
